Unapologetic Cuteness

Mine are growing UP. . .

(Carolyn–this is the one she PICKED to wear. . .tell R. thank you. I remember it was one she was sad had gotten too small for her. Victoria LOVES it. πŸ™‚

. . .even though they are NOT too grown up for a good egg hunt and Easter baskets. . .

. . .or sitting in the same chair.

Lucky for us, Tony's brother and his wife had the good sense to give us this one.

Does she or does she NOT bear a striking resemblance to Little Cindy Lou Who who was no more than two? She is, by the way, 15 months.

Here she is wrapping her Uncle Tony even MORE TIGHTLY around her teeny, weeny finger.

And here she is laughing at the ten big people laughing at her. . .she had everyone's attention and LOVED it.

  1. Nothing to apologize here – this is cuteness of the best kind!
YES, oh does she ever resemble Cindy Lou Who! What a happy little girl!

Alas, this was the first year in 15 we have not had Easter baskets. When Z noticed the AISLE of them at Walmart, that aisle where the baskets lined every shelf from top to bottom, and then upon closer inspection realized that the stuff in the baskets was “a bunch of junk.” I’m not sure what to make of this.

    • Well. . .the kids may have yearned for one of those fancy schmancy baskets pre-filled, but they have the same one they’ve had since their first Easter (that I bought at Hobby Lobby). I just fill it with whatever I think will make them happy at the time. . .chocolate, flashlights, pretty notepads, Legos, packages of blueberry gum. . .you get the idea. This year there were also pajamas. πŸ™‚

      • Now I am worried that it sounded like I implied Their Easter baskets were “full of junk!” Up until this year the boys got the same sort of hand-picked and filled baskets, in the same baskets every year πŸ™‚ Last year they got a chocolate rabbit in their basket! Sort of a cop out on the Easter Bunny’s part, but a big hit with the boys.

    • Dear, sweet, silly friend whom I adore. . .you did NOT sound that way. I was just saying that my kids have often looked at THOSE Easter baskets and said in an interested way, “Look Mommy. . .aren’t those cool/pretty/neat. . .” I, however, will fall for no such tomfoolery on their part. πŸ™‚

  2. She looks so pretty in the dress! Those p.j. bottoms look familiar too! I can’t believe how much Heather has grown!

    • Yes. . .the pajama pants came from you too. I don’t know if they were originally meant to be “pedal-pusher” pajama pants. . .but she still wears them just the same. πŸ™‚

  3. Love love love those pictures. Heather really is the sweetest little baby, and yes, she the resemblance is uncanny. Your babies look so nice in the Easter clothes.

Tell me what ya think.
